Mortal Kombat is an arcade fighting game developed and published by Midway in 1992 as the first game in the series. It was released by Acclaim Entertainment for almost every platform then. It's a game in which players fight one-on-one matches. Whoever completely depletes the other person's health bar wins that round. if you win two times in a row you win. There is also a timer. If the time runs out while both players are still alive, the game chooses the one with the most health. In the first Mortal Kombat game, players could only choose from seven different characters.
